If your resolution is to run a marathon this year, you don’t need to go out and complete 26.2 in January. Properly training for a marathon takes months. As long as you're keeping up with a training regimen, you’re well on your way to success! Resolutions like running a marathon don't happen overnight!
Why have you failed at past resolutions? Look back and learn from your mistakes. Switch it up and see how that affects your goals! Hopefully, you’ll be able to find a system that works for you and your lifestyle.
Get a journal, planner, etc. and track your progress. Visualize your goals and see how far you’ve come to stay motivated. Write down every success here and come back to it when you need a little extra encouragement!
Don’t let a small set back destroy your goals or progress! It’s okay to have slip-ups; we encourage you to keep pushing through! You’re working on changing bad habits, and that will take some time.
