This week marks the start of Movember, and before men begin growing out their mustaches for another great cause, we wanted to pause and reflect on the amazingness of our affiliation with Bright Pink and everything you, our fans, helped us with in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month.
You’ve seen the posts on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Your eyes have a permanent pink filter on them from our blog posts and email updates. Your ears have never looked better sporting your new hot pink Trekz Titanium. And now for our final hoorah, we want to leave you with a sincere thank you from everyone at AfterShokz! Your contributions turned into a $25,000 donation to Bright Pink. That's HUGE.
Our #AwareWithPink campaign evolved into something bigger than we ever anticipated. Our small team of 3 monitoring our social media accounts could barely keep up with liking and reposting all of the love that came flooding in! #AwareWithPink was shared 650 times - with every use giving back to Bright Pink to drive awareness and education about breast and ovarian cancer.
Our friends at BibRave hit the streets of America with pink pride, spreading the message about #AwareWithPink far and wide.
Special shoutout to the guys who sported their hot pink Trekz Titanium to spread awareness to their loved ones too. #RealMenWearPink
Our girls over at FitApproach went global (and upside down!) with their Trekz Titanium Pink to share the love of #AwareWithPink with the world.
We even had some furry friends joining the party!
The ladies of AfterShokz took the #AwareWithPink message to their favorite local radio station KRock to kick it with Josh & AJ and inform Syracuse listeners about the importance of Breast Cancer Awareness month.
AfterShokz pinked out their expo booth at the Chicago Marathon to get the Chicagoans excited and informed about the importance of taking action on their health. We met some amazing runners with inspirational stories about cancer battles they’ve faced, and that just fueled our fire to keep spreading the love and spreading awareness.
The fact that BCA month is a global sensation just goes to show that it’s making its mark. More and more men and women around the world are becoming aware each year. But that’s just the first step. We want to leave this campaign with a very important message: turn this world-renowned awareness into action. Awareness is only the first step - getting checked could save a life.
