The Loveland Foundation

Here at AfterShokz, we’ve made a commitment to continue supporting and advocating for the Black community and all communities of colour long after the protests and news coverage ends, and the Loveland Foundation is helping us do just that. The organization focuses on creating and providing resources and initiatives for improved opportunities, access, validation, and healing to people of colour, especially Black women and girls. Black Men Run

Black Men Run is an organization dedicated to raising awareness about the many health and wellness benefits running offers Black men. Additionally, the organization is committed to serving as a network for fellow Black male runners and to be a source of inspiration for those who may be interested in beginning their own health journeys. Black Men Run has hundreds of chapters nationwide to help cultivate community and organize social action and engagement opportunities at the grassroots level. Some of their programs and initiatives include race competitions, career mentorship, and volunteerism opportunities. David Suzuki Foundation

Motivated by scientific evidence and insights from leading Canadian scientists and experts, the purpose of the David Suzuki Foundation is to encourage and empower people to take action against environmental challenges in their local and collective communities. The organization works with evidence-based researched and policy analysis to collaborate with program and community mobilizers to create conservational change and to protect Canada’s natural environment. Girls on the Run

Driven by the belief that all girls are born with power and a purpose, Girls on the Run is on a mission to help inspire every girl to reach their limitless potential. Through running activities and virtual programming, Girls on the Run has created a research-based curriculum designed to help girls develop life skills, build character and self-esteem, and create healthy lifestyle habits. The organization is made up of more than 200 council locations nationwide and includes a network of adult women volunteers, parent supporters, and more than 2 million girls, proving it’s a mission that goes beyond just running. Brave Like Gabe

Inspired by the late elite middle-distance runner Gabriele “Gabe” Grunewald, Brave Like Gabe is a foundation dedicated to finding more and effective treatments for those diagnosed with rare cancers. On a mission to encourage stories of triumph and bravery from cancer fighters and survivors like Gabe, the organization is made up of runners, athletes, and warriors alike.
